Add some much needed punch to your 1994-Up E-Z-GO Medalist/TXT . These pods are custom made to create a seamless fit into the dash panel as well as the steering column cover. They hold either a 6-1/2" or 5-1/4" driver and won't get in the way of the pedals. These pods were specifically designed to get the largest speaker with the least amount of pedal interference. The driver side pod is made with an integrated steering column cover for a seamless and professional looking install. Pods are made from Black 1/8" ABS Plastic. They are paintable using most spray paints. Patent Pending Pods mount to both the floor and dash of the golf cart using simple tools and are fastened using screws and locknuts (hardware provided). Can be fastened above or below the floor mat. For a below the floor mat installation, some cutting of the rubber floor mat will be necessary (very simple to do with heavy duty scissors). No cutting of the actual floor board is necessary (plenty of clearance for the back end of the speaker). Holes must be predrilled for the mounting. See installation instructions for further details. Steering wheel must be removed to install driver side pod. Tweeters from your component set can be easily added using our new tweeter mounts that fit inside the cubby hole.
